Books: As a child I was constantly reading. Everything I saw from carton of cereal to every chapter in the history textbook. It was not really for the fun, more of the from the boredom. When I got older I stopped reading as much fantasy, which was predominantly all I was interested in at the time. Nowadays, I would not say I read books anymore but still have rarely.

Newspaper: Only read at work, I consider it somewhat outdated, but useful for getting information to those who are not as computer smart.

Movies: I would watch a lot as a child, very less intrigued nowadays.

Recordings: I have been playing guitar for about 10 years and have considered calling myself a musician for the past five or so. Therefore as for recording I have tons on my computer and a recollection of many more.

Internet: Pretty much my source of television, as well as most of the articles I read.

I have not had a job in the media, but I do work for a very large corporation. I am not directly involved with any of the media aspects, but I get a first hand look at the effects of the media on customers and work ethics.
I would like to have a job in the media, I do not know enough yet to state though.
I plan to major in marketing with a minor in mass comm. which is why I enrolled in this class.

  1. Marketing careers will almost always involve media, so you're in the right place!
